About RDS

RDS is the private firm that provides specialized consulting in radiation protection, radiation monitoring, radioactive waste management and radiation protection training services to the uranium mining and petroleum industry worldwide.

In 1997 RDS commenced the development of radiation monitors and radiation detection based process control systems for the uranium mining industry. In all system designs RDS considered inputs from health physicists, geologists and process engineers.

The principal of the firm is a nuclear engineer with a PhD in experimental nuclear physics who has 35 years of experience in the radiation protection industry. He is a member of the American Health Physics Society and the Australian Radiation Protection Society.
